List Lingo Complete
Posted by: | CommentsHey… I told you I would report when the List Lingo module was complete. It is now complete and I can say, I had alot of fun! One of the things I struggled with for a long time was trying to find out how to upload a pdf file so it would be available for download for visitors to my blog. I always tried to find tutorials or ask others for help but I just couldn’t grasp the concept. Well… know I have it thanks to Dean Holland. Dean’s tutorials were easy to follow and very informative. He made it very idiot proof. (smile) Thanks to all my fellow students who helped me out in the forum as well. What would I do without you?
Now… on to other things. Dean also give me some last building strategies and this is going to be my next task. Over the next few weeks, I am really going to focus on building a list. I really want to connect with my potential subscribers and I plan on giving away some great products to help me do this. Keep checking the blog and if you have not done so pick up your guide on setting up wordpress 2.8. It’s a great giveaway and it makes setting up your blog easy as a b c. Module 4– List building
Posted by: | CommentsHey… thanks for stopping by the blog. I am starting module 4 in Dean Holland’s marketing academy. I can’t believe it has gone so fast. I just received the email that the module was ready. I have not gotten a chance to view it just yet but I’ll give a report as soon as I do. Is there really money in the list? I guess I will find out!
I am looking forward to finally working with my autoresponder a bit more as I have done it only a few times. In case you didn’t know, Aweber has the best autoresponder out there. I may be a bit biased because I have it. (smile) I have found it generally easy to use and they even offer tutorials and live classes to make sure you succeed. If you are looking for an autoresponder to build your list, I suggest Aweber. I’ll have more to report on list building after I venture through the module, so stop back by in a few.
Believe and Achieve… Indeed
Posted by: | CommentsI wanted to to drop a short post on something that popped into my mind while listening to Dean Holland’s believe and acheive video segment. It is about belief… mainly how we get what we believe. Your subonscious mind is always working whether you know it or not. It always gives you what you believe and never lets you down. If you believe you can’t make money on the internet, guess what? Its going to do everything to prove to you that you can’t make money on the net. This holds true for every belief that you have right now. I can attest to this by telling a story. I have a 9 to 5 job right now and I had a belief that I just wasn’t going to make any more money than I made at the time on my job. In my first year on the job, I didn’t make much money and I really struggled. I thought to myself, ” here we go again another sales job where I am promised the world and nothing delivers”. I had to borrow money from other people just to pay my bills. I can even remember borrowing money from my cousin to fix my car as it was my only means for transporation to my job in the morning. I had finally come to the end of the rope and I knew something had to be done.
I began searching for something, anything to try to change my mindset. I just so happened to come across a book by Dr Joseph Murphy about the subconscious mind and how it affects our everyday lives. In the book he talked about how to change our subconscious mind through programming and using affirmations. I was really desperate so i said what the hell, I’ll try it. I made up an affirmation about money and I would say it to myself in the first, second and third person every morning and every night before going to sleep. I didn’t believe the affirmation at first but through repeating it over and over again, I started to have unshakeable faith and undying belief… and then things started to happen!
In the beginning of last year, I started getting bonus checks at my job and those checks continued throughout the year. I made more last year than I ever made in sales. In fact, I am still receiving bonus checks and should make more than I did last year. Sounds crazy right? It really isn’t when you start to believe! Everyone is meant to be abundant but we stop our abundance through worry, fear and guilt. The first step to changing anything is believing you can change it. Once you believe then the subconscious mind will give you the very thing you are wanting in your life… believe it. Believe and achieve… indeed.

Posted by: | CommentsHey… wanted to let ya’ll know I am having a great time with learning everything in the marketing academy. I decided to step my game up a little bit and buy a Flip camcorder so I can start posting some video. I received it on yesterday and it came in a big box! I thought the camera was going to be bigger than it was since the box was humongous! The camera was small and seems easy to use. I can’t wait to start posting video to my site and see how it goes.
I am starting my third week of the marketing academy and the modules have been insightful to say the least. I didn’t know so much goes into the internet process but is keeping me quite busy. I have much to do.. updating the headers on my blogs etc. I’ll keep you posted and thanks for dropping by…Dee

Posted by: | CommentsHey… I am just finishing up Dean Holland’s Social Media Module after being on vacation for a few days. He’s going over some interesting stuff as always. I finally found out how to add a blogroll on my other site that connects to this particular blog. if you haven’t checked my other blog out do so at www.watchyourtrainerblog.com. I have been working on this blog for a while and finally got it the way I like it.
This marketing academy is opening my eyes to a world of opportunities via the internet by way of marketing. It seems simple enough but everything has a system and I am looking ot learn the system to market correctly. I’ll be updating my journey on here… follow me!!!
