Sahi’s influence extends far beyond friendship circles. In Buffalo, New York, he’s currently a Council Assistant in the Fillmore District Common Council and a liaison for the community — a role that puts him at the intersection of public service and cultural leadership.

Sahi helped lead celebrations like the Inaugural Eid Fest, bringing Buffalo’s diverse communities together at the iconic Central Terminal — a gathering that celebrated Bengali culture, music, art, and food while shining light on the region’s South Asian roots.
He’s spoken publicly as a community leader during moments of both celebration and sorrow, uniting people in strength and purpose.
